Guidelines
While Google’s generosity with their Grants for Nonprofits can have a major and lasting positive impact, there are some specifics that must be followed. These include:
- Only running keyword-targeted text ad campaigns on the Google.com search network that don’t exceed a CPC of $2.00 USD
- Only linking to the one nonprofit website approved by Google
- Actively managing your AdWords account by logging in on at least a monthly basis
- Representing the mission of the approved nonprofit organization
- Using keywords that are relevant to the approved nonprofit’s programs and/or services
- Only promoting products and/or services where 100% of the proceeds support the approved program
- Not displaying financial products or requests for car/boat/property donations
- Not displaying AdSense or affiliate advertising links on your website
